ART 209: DIGITAL PHOTO/VIDEO

This class introduces beginning digital photography and video practices for art majors. Content emphasizes training in digital camera controls and editing software. Still and moving image projects explore photographic points of view including camera angles, perspective, composition, and focus. Contemporary approaches and the history of digital time-based media inform student work. This class prepares students for intermediate and advanced photography/video courses. 6 contact hours per week.
