ART 353: COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY

Preparatory: Art 200, 250 or equivalent. Investigation into the various aspects of color photography which include: exposure and development of negative film; printing with color materials utilizing the subtractive color principles which underlie color filtration and correction; a brief survey of contemporary color photographers with an emphasis on the aesthetics of their works; refinement of the students¿ visual eye while pursuing their own stylistic expression. May be repeated once for credit. 9 hours lab.
