BIOL 472: REC DNA TECHNIQUE

Prerequisites: BIOL 360; CHEM 102/L; or enrollment in the Biology MS program. Corequisite: BIOL 472L. Preparatory: BIOL 380. Handling and processing of recombinant DNA, including DNA isolation, use of restriction enzymes, gel electrophoresis, ligation, cloning, blots, hybridization and associated microbiological techniques. Lecture 2 hours. Available for Graduate credit.
