CTVA 495R: UNSCRIPTED TELEVISION

Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or higher in CTVA 100 and CTVA 210; Completion of the lower division writing requirement. In this course we will explore all the elements used in the creation of reality television with an emphasis on how story is formed in reality/non-scripted television programming. The course will provide instruction and experience in the producing methods used to make broadcast quality reality programs. Students will learn various techniques and procedures for creating reality programs across the format's many genres.
