ENGL 369: LESBIAN WRITERS

Preparatory: Completion of the lower division writing requirement. Study of literary and cultural representations of gender and sex minorities with an emphasis on female identities including lesbian, bi, queer, and trans, plus genderqueer, nonbinary, and additional sexual orientations, and gender expressions. Focus on historical and contemporary movements through the lens of queer theory, with particular attention to lesbian writers and to diverse people and cultures.
