FCS 314L: BLD CDS SYS LAB

Prerequisites: FCS 211, FCS 213/L, FCS 214/L. Students are introduced to basic elements of construction and building systems, including power distribution systems, mechanical systems, energy management, ceiling systems, flooring systems and the impact of local building codes on the interior design process. Emphasis is placed on the interaction between interior design ideas and the construction methods. Two hour lecture, one 3-hour lab.
