Prerequisite: FCS 160. Corequisite: FCS 356. Analysis of the quality of design, materials and construction techniques used in commercially produced apparel and accessories. Comparison of manufacturing processes, concepts of sizing, and principles of fit and pricing in relation to the target consumer in various markets. 2 hours lecture, one 2-hour activity per week.
