FCS 494I: ACAD INTERNSHIACT

Prerequisite: Instructor consent and senior standing. Students in the Interior Design option must complete FCS 311, FCS 312/l, FCS 314/l and FCS 316 and have instructor consent. Corequisite: FCS 494; FCS 494I. This academic internship course provides supervised, practical learning experiences focused on the application of concepts learned throughout the academic program/option. This field-based course allows for application in a professional setting and student reflection. Individualized learning outcomes are evaluated via observation, participation, reflection, journal/portfolio contents, self-evaluation and supervisor evaluations. Specific guidelines for field experience and assignments vary by option.
