KIN 526L: TEACH EFFECT KIN LAB

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Kinesiology M.S. program or consent of instructor. Corequisite: KIN 526 Seminar that develops knowledge and skills of teaching in kinesiology-based disciplines in higher education. Study of the research literature in pedagogy, with a primary focus on the teaching of motor activities and lab courses. Students examine instructional strategies and develop skill in the use of systematic observation. 2 hours seminar, 2 hours lab (arranged) per week.
