MUS 304: MUSIC CHILD

Prerequisite: Restricted to students in the ITEP-Freshman Option Program; MUS 120. This course provides students the opportunity to revisit music and apply their knowledge of this area to working with children. Experiences will include planning, teaching and assessing music lessons in field- based settings. Students will also engage in critical analysis and reflection to discover ways to guide children in three unique roles: as creators, performers, and observers of music as an art form.
