MUS 391L: MUSIC TECH II

Corequisite: MUS 391. Prerequisite: MUS 191/L. An in-depth, hands-on exploration of the current approaches to creating music using computer software and related hardware. Topics include sound, digital audio, MIDI sequencing, audio loops, software instruments, synthesis, sampling, sound design, sound processing, and synchronization to digital video. Two hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.
