ART 3005: Introduction to Darkroom Photography

Students will explore and learn analogue darkroom processes including manual 35mm camera techniques, black and white film development, and archival silver gelatin printing methods. Students will gain knowledge of historical and contemporary issues in photography and develop verbal and written language skills to critique the construction of images. Limited number of loaner film cameras available. Prereq: 2555. Not open to students with credit for 4005.
