An advanced survey of the structured products and options-based securities utilized in the bond market. Students will learn about synthetic instruments, derivative cash flow, and the discipline to manage assets using complex strategies and asset-liability matching protocols used by traditional asset managers as well as leveraged players in the global bond markets. Prereq: MBA 6223. Prereq or concur: BusFin 7210, 7220, or 7230; or enrollment in SMB-Finance program.
