DENT 6543: Oral Radiology I

This course is designed to introduce the fundamental principles and techniques of oral radiology. Students will explore a wide range of essential topics, including radiation biology, protection and physics; dental image characteristics and dental x-ray equipment; basics of patient communication and education; and both intraoral and extraoral imaging techniques. Prereq: Enrollment in DDS program. Repeatable to a maximum of 6 cr hrs.
