The history of science from the eighteenth through to the late twentieth century. Students will study major developments in the physical, geological, biological and chemical sciences, and the relation of the history of science to social, economic, political and cultural developments in European history. Prereq or concur: English 1110.xx, or GE foundation writing and info literacy course, or permission of instructor.
