HTHRHSC 4191: CARESTREAM: An Immersive Experience in Healthcare Delivery and Improvement

This is an experiential learning course that includes two credit hours of coursework and one credit hour of experiential learning at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Students will receive a combination of coursework and field training to learn about the hospital system, patient interaction, professionalism, and inter-professional care. All students must be in good academic standing. To participate in the experiential learnings, students must comply with all requirements for clinical students as outlined in the Clinical Education Affiliation Agreement between the School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences and the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This includes providing proof of vaccinations, negative tuberculosis testing, negative drug test, and passing a background check (as part of medical center ID processing). Repeatable to a maximum of 12 cr hrs.
