HTHRHSC 5450: Assistive Technology for Sports and Recreation

Students learn how to develop and implement assistive technology devices and services in adapted sports and recreation. The course includes technology for Paralympic sports, summer sports, winter sports, video games, and recreation. The course will review principles of anthropometrics, biomechanics and ergonomics as it applies to adapted sports and recreation. Prereq: 5100.
