ISE 6230: Decision Analytics for Integrated Systems Engineering
Ohio State University
Focus on decision analytics, a rigorous system for decision-making support that draws from data science, statistical/machine learning, and mathematical optimization. Provides unique decision-forward perspective: start from needs of decision and apply tools in integrated fashion. Includes focus on mathematical optimization modeling and related algorithmic consequences in ML models. Students are expected to have taken courses in Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, and Introductory Programming. Prereq: Graduate enrollment in College of Engineering. Not open to students with credit for ECE 5307, BME 5710, ISE 4230, ISE 4194 or ISE 6194.
