Introduction to the physical structure of wood and to the design and construction of furniture and sculptural objects in wood. Also, an introduction to the historical use of wood joinery in man-made objects. Course is repeatable for 6 units of credit. 6 hours activity. Prerequisite(s): ART 13 or instructor consent.
