Lab experience in nucleic acid and protein purification, enzyme assay, bacterial and mammalian cell culture, immunofluorescence, column chromatography, agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, light microscopy, etc. 1 hour lecture; 6 hours lab. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 135A (with grade of "C" or better), or instructor consent. Must be a declared Biology Major (all).
