Lecture 3 hours/lab 3 hours/seminar 1 hour. Prerequisite(s): High school algebra. Recommended: Human Anatomy, Chemistry 30A. Satisfies GE Area: 5B and 5C. Life Science and Laboratory (Formerly Area B2 and B3). Note: Not an elective in the department majors. A grade of "C-" or better is required to earn 5B and 5C Intensive Science GE credit.
