CE 170: Principles of Environmental Engineering

Introduction to environmental (water, air and land) pollution problem, surface water and groundwater quality, water and wastewater treatment processes, drinking water and wastewater treatment flowsheets, design of drinking water treatment processes, contemporary environmental issues, and environmental sustainability. Prerequisite: CE 20, ME 111, CHEM 1A, and ENGR 100W Misc/Lab: Lecture 2 hours; lab/design 3 hours.
