Development of advanced writing skills in the field of child and adolescent development, with a focus on the development of scientific, professional, analytic, and persuasive writing styles. Students will learn to use writing to clearly convey ideas to specialized and general audiences. Writing in the Disciplines: Satisfies the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) if passed with C or better. Prerequisite(s): 1B or equivalent second semester composition course (with a grade of C- or better); completion of core GE; and upper division standing. Or Graduate or Postbaccalaureate level.
