DSGD 100: Visual Communication & Process

Problems explore methods of visual organization used in graphic communication. The course promotes the critical examination and development of ideas, two-dimensional spaces, and three-dimensional structures, including the relationship between some production methods and materials. Activity 6 hours. Prerequisite(s): ANI 11 (or ART 24 or DSID 21 or DSIT 10), DSGD 63 (or ART 12 or ANI 10 or DSID 22 or DSIT 5), DSGD 83 (or ANI 71 or DSID 32 or DSIT 83), and DSGD 100A. Allowed Declared Majors: BA Design Studies, BS Industrial Design, BFA Animation/Illustration, BFA Interior Design. Allowed Declared Minor: Graphic Design Minor.
