Aspects of products affecting human performance, comfort and safety. Emphasis on design of computer interfaces, automobiles and furniture. Topics include visual displays, anthropometry, seating design and safety design. Prerequisite(s): BS Industrial Design Majors must complete DSID 22 and DSID 32. Interaction Design Minors must complete ANI 11 or DSID 22 or DSIT 10, and DSID 32 or DSGD 83. Lab/Act: Activity 6 hours.
