DSIT 93: Interior Architecture Visualization II

Course will explore the use of building information modeling (BIM) and advanced digital visualization tools in the design, documentation, and representation of commercial, institutional, and/or mixed-use buildings. The course will include the use of Revit (TM) software from Autodesk and Rhinoceros software from McNeel for 3D digital modeling, design iteration, and technical documentation. Additional advanced software applications for digital representation, such as Enscape by Chaos; Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator by Adobe Creative Suite; and AI visualization through Gemini and Adobe Firefly will be used for advanced visualization. The course will focus on developing a strong foundation of comprehension and proficiency around the digital skills required for visually communicating the design of buildings and their respective interiors. Activity 6 hours. Prerequisite(s): DSIT 29, DSIT 83.
