EE 130: Electric Machines and Drives

This course introduces the theory of operation and the control of electro-mechanical machines including DC machines, DC brushless machines, and AC synchronous machines and their electric drive systems. Applications include robotics, electric vehicle, and electric power generation. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisite(s): EE 110 and EE 112 both with grades of "C-" or better.
