EE 136: Semiconductor Power Electronics

San Jose State University

Study of power electronic circuits and applications including switch-mode regulators, AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC conversion, uninterruptible power supplies, variable speed drives, active filtering and harmonic cancellation; laboratory demonstrations. Applications include electric vehicle propulsion and spacecraft power systems. Prerequisite(s): EE 122 with a grade of "C-" or better.
