A continuation of Math 161A. Two sample confidence intervals and hypothesis tests, analysis of variance, simple and multiple regression, chi-square tests of homogeneity and goodness-of-fit, other topics as time permits. Use of statistical software is integral to the course. Student project required. Prerequisite(s): MATH 161A (with a grade of "C-" or better), or instructor consent. Allowed Declared Majors: Mathematics major or minor.
