Examines the process of critique, creative description, research, and professional communications central to the performing arts. Students develop writing skills through the study of varied formats focused on the arts. Writing in the Disciplines: Satisfies the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) if passed with C or better. Prerequisite(s): 1B or equivalent second semester composition course (with a grade of C- or better); completion of core GE; and upper division standing. Or Graduate or Postbaccalaureate level.
