Examines the systematic inquiry of basic research concepts and processes. Evidence-based practice (EBP) results from the appraisal of the best scientific evidence available to guide clinical decision-making and thus to achieve quality patient outcomes. Writing in the Disciplines: Satisfies the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) if passed with C or better. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Nursing program. 1B or equivalent second semester composition course (with a grade of C- or better); completion of core GE; and upper division standing. Or Graduate or Postbaccalaureate level. Note(s): Nursing BS Semester 1.
