PH 183: Public Health Advocacy

Public Health Advocacy is designed to introduce students to the art of health advocacy. Students will learn about health activism histories and contemporary issues and tactics, develop essential skills in community organizing, and work on an advocacy campaign. Prerequisite(s): Upper division standing, Public Health majors, PH 165A, and PH 165B; or by instructor consent. High Impact Practice: Collaborative Assignments and Projects.
