Practice in improvement of writing and research skills appropriate to the field of sociology, including formal reports, journals and articles. Writing in the Disciplines: Satisfies the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) if passed with C or better. Prerequisite(s): 1B or equivalent second semester composition course (with a grade of C- or better); completion of core GE; and upper division standing. Or Graduate or Postbaccalaureate level. Allowed Declared Majors: Sociology, Behavioral Science, Chicana Chicano Studies, Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Asian American Studies. Note(s): Required for Sociology Majors.
