An introduction to the components of live theatre. This includes learning and experiencing the specialized skills and training needed by playwrights, actors, directors, and designers, as well as investigating and reporting on the historical and cultural contexts of theatre around the world. Students will view, read, and critically write about plays and theatrical productions. Satisfies GE Area: 3A. Arts (Formerly Area C1).
