TECH 41: Machine Shop Operations and Safety

Introduction to basic machine shop safety and skills. Fabrication of mechanical components and assemblies from engineering drawings, performing tolerance inspection and developing fabrication process plans. In-person attendance is required at most class meetings. 3 hours lab. Course is repeatable for up to 3 units. Prerequisite(s): ME 20 or TECH 20A or CE 20 or equivalent.
