Contemporary feminist theories analyze gender roles in religious cultures and a variety of sexual expressions. Students will analyze diverse religious cultures and communities across geographical, political, and social locations like ethnicity and class to study gender debates within religious perspectives. Prerequisite(s): Upper division standing or instructor consent.
