For BIEN 201 online section: enrollment in the online Masters-in-Science in Engineering program; graduate standing. Provides a fundamental grounding in applied mathematics to determine solutions to problems such as biotransport and bioreaction kinetics. Topics include solutions to linear differential equations, analytical methods for partial differential equations, similarity transforms and perturbation methods, regression techniques, and related error analysis.
