BIOL 002: CELLULAR BASIS OF LIFE

Topics include cell structure, chemical composition, metabolism, reproduction, genetics, and development with emphasis on humans. Not recommended for natural science majors. Either BIOL 002 or BIOL 003 may be taken as a breadth requirement in biology; together they provide a general introduction to the field of biology. Credit is not awarded for BIOL 002 if it has already been awarded for BIOL 005A, BIOL 05LA or BIOL 020.
