BLKS 002: INTRODUCTION TO BLACK STUDY 2: IMAGINED AND EMBODIED FUTURES

Engages critical appraisal of artistic forms, political organizing efforts, embodied praxis and resistance formations, and theoretical prisms that imagine and propose alternatives to antiblackness. Examines Black interventions through time and technologies focusing on transgender, queer, and feminist perspectives-building on what Cedric Robinson terms the Black Radical Tradition. Credit is awarded for one of the following BLKS 002 or BLKS 002S.
