GEO 144: EARTHQUAKE SEISMOLOGY

Introduction to the theories and observations of earthquake seismology. Student utilizes physical principles and mathematical techniques to study the earthquake process, wave propagation, and ground motion. Laboratory emphasizes computer-assisted analysis of various types of seismic data as well as simple modeling techniques.
