GSST 125: GENDER AND GENOCIDE

Examines gendered dimensions of contemporary and historical genocides. Analyzes the ways gender ideologies intersect racialization and ethnic marking. Explores how gender shapes selection, forced labor, torture, and murder. Considers gender ideologies in relation to collective, institutional, and individual responses to genocide and genocidal campaigns. Cross-listed with ANTH 106.
