MATH 022: CALCULUS FOR BUSINESS

Prerequisite(s): MATH 004 with a grade of C- or better or MATH 006B with a grade of C- or better or MATH 005A; or a sufficiently high score on the placement examination, as determined by the Mathematics Department. Explores relations and functions (e.g., linear, polynomial, logarithmic, and exponential). Addresses differential calculus of functions of one and two variables as well as integration (indefinite and definite) with applications to business and economic problems. Credit is not awarded for MATH 022 if a grade of "C-" or better has already been awarded for MATH 007A, MATH 009A, MATH 09HA, or MATH 005B.
