MATH 031: APPLIED LINEAR ALGEBRA

Prerequisite(s): CS 010A with a grade of C- or better or MATH 005C with a grade of C- or better or MATH 007B with a grade of C- or better or MATH 009B with a grade of C- or better or MATH 09HB with a grade of C- or better. A study of matrices and systems of linear equations, determinants, Gaussian elimination, vector spaces, linear independence and linear transformation, orthogonality, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors. Also examines selected topics and applications. Credit is awarded for one of the following MATH 031 or EE 020B.
