Laboratory exercises in diagnostic bacteriology, basic virology, and epidemiology. Includes fundamental quantitative and diagnostic microbiological procedures, basic mechanisms of microbial genetic exchange, and a project examining bacterial epidemiology. Cross-listed with BIOL 121L. Credit is awarded for one of the following MCBL 121L, BIOL 121L, or MCBL 131L.
