PHYS 219: COSMOLOGY AND STRUCTURE FORMATION

Explores cosmology, models for the universe, galaxy formation scenarios, evolution of galaxies and stellar population, and number counts. Also covers star formation activity in the universe, cosmic background radiation, dark matter, and dark energy. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor.
