Topics include nanofabrication and characterization, advanced thin film growth methods, vacuum techniques, electrical and magnetic characterization, cryogenic instrumentation, optical measurements, X-ray techniques, data acquisition and analysis, and general lab techniques. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor.
