Surveys how high-level psychological functions (e.g., perception, memory, language) are organized in the human brain. Covers behavioral and cognitive impairments due to disorders such as brain injury, stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and dementias including Alzheimer's disease. Emphasizes how such disorders inform our understanding of cognitive functions.
