STAT 298I: INDIVIDUAL INTERNSHIP IN STATISTICS

1 to 12 Units, Research, 1 to 12 hours; internship, 2 to 24 hours. Prerequisite(s): restricted to major(s) Statistics; graduate standing; or consent of instructor. An internship to provide statistical field experience in governmental, industrial, or research units. Projects must be approved by the Statistics Department and the head of the unit in which the internship is to be carried out. Requires a written report. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 16 units.
