DANCE 74: OPEN-LEVEL MODERN

This course teaches modern dance technique focusing on the concepts of move ment generation, alignment of the body for optimal performance of class mat erial, analysis of the moving body and training in specific modern dance te chniques to strengthen the dancer's ability to perform various modern dance modalities. Attention will be paid to artistry, musicality, skill attainme nt and how to process ideas about embodiment.
