An intensive introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with an e mphasis on geological applications, including geologic mapping, topographic analysis, modeling surface processes and river networks, importation and i nterpolation of field data, and spatial analysis and correlation of multipl e geologic datasets. Short Lectures are interspersed with the lab exercises .
